Liquid Lounge
Liquid Lounge is found in the Polis Centre Square, tucked in an alley but will not be missed. An impression of the bar is made even before entering, as sounds of laughter, live music, ‘chings’ of glasses can be heard as well as an inviting aroma of Asian flavours.
The dream of two people from different parts of England at different times, became a reality …… The concept of the bar was to create a relaxed environment within the chilled Mediterranean lifestyle.
Emphasis was made on ensuring that both local and imported drinks are available, as well as an impressive selection of cocktails.
There are 3 main sections where by there is a synchronized blend of comfort and entertainment. For those who envy the sunshine, there are tables scattered out in the open while a cool breeze sooths the heat.
The lounge area has several couches which are complemented with soft cushions. It is a large area and can accommodate for large groups of families or friends. The ocean blue colours as well as the striking photos found on the walls enhances the warm and care free atmosphere.
A designated area has been selected for dinning purposes and one can also indulge in the Asian cuisines severed between 6 pm and 2 am daily. As the Asian cuisines have become so popular and due to the several requests, there is now a delivery service available for orders above CYP10.
Another entertaining benefit that Liquid Lounge has to offer is live performances by Andy Crafter, every Monday night. He is truly a highly talented musician and draws the attention of the audience. Mike D’abo, a well known composer has honoured the bar with his expertise and abilities on several unexpected occasions. He is the composer of Rod Steward – ‘Handbags & Glad rags’, The Temptations ‘Build me up buttercup’ and many more.
