A picturesque village 600 metres above sea level, Lasa is one of the few remaining typical mountain villages, close to the Paphos Forest and many small villages. This vine clad sloping village offers truly magnificent views of valleys, mountains and uninterrupted sea views to Polis & Latchi in the distance.
The area around Lasa is pristine. It’s is a substantial stone built village, with the equally important neighbouring village of Fyti, (famous for its exceptional & traditional weaving), being three minutes away.
Lasa itself is the area's main village together with Fyti, concentrating the produce of the farming activities of smaller villages and hamlets around it.
It is a friendly village. The coffee shops in the square and dotting the village are the places to be in the afternoon, when the locals come back from the fields. The food is good and cheap; the local version of zivania (like grappa) is a winter must. Dining options are there for you to discover.
These are well-located villages-central for their area, occupying advantageous locations (the radio masts on both these villages attest to this).
Simple life and elegance go hand in hand in this village.                    Lasa is well connected with various tarmac roads leading to either Paphos or Polis in approximately 25 to 30 minutes, being about half way from both of them.
