Hign on a hill, Armou is a quiet, traditional village enjoying panoramic views and refreshing breezes.
Armou is situated 11km north east of Paphos away from the hustle and bustle for those who prefer a quieter location; and the drive up from the town is a real pleasure at any time of the year. This is the 'real' Cyprus, abundant in flora and fauna, and sleepy little hamlets, like nearby Marathounta, nestling amid the rolling green hills.
Armou and Marathounta boast a taverna each, but you would need to go down to the outskirts of Paphos for most of your supplies. However, it's only a 10 minute drive down a good quality road, and here you have the best of both worlds, as there is some wonderful countryside to explore on foot, cycle or car.
